Being a Man and a real Dad

Being a Man and a real Dad

Hello all, welcome back to our blog.

Our topic is dedicated to the real men and great dads in our society.

Father’s Day or better said Dad’s Day is celebrated on different days in different ways across the globe. I’m living in Germany now and here; it falls on the 26th of May. This post is in dedication to all the real dads in the global society. At the end of this piece, we offer a few goodies associated with the topic, which we hope you can enjoy.

I’d like to state that I am no medical or psychological professional, just a man, and father who is offering his opinions of 60 years of experience in life on this great planet!

I personally do not need a special day to be honored for being a good dad. I receive approval in the eyes, and expressions, and see the feeling of balance and love in my children/grandchildren’s development. Some people need the extras, or like here in Germany, the tradition is to go out with other men with a pull wagon full of alcohol, get drunk and act like…well you know. If I celebrate, then with the family.

Anyway, this piece is for the dads, not the fathers, because any biological male has the potential to be a father or reproductive assistant, but it takes a real human Man to be a dad! Being a dad means being there from the time making the baby through the children’s youth up until your passing on into greener pastures. Whether you are still with the mother or not. I grew up knowing I had a father, but unfortunately, he disowned me already as a child and boy did it hurt for a very long time. It was even at times very embarrassing, but I grew out of it. So, I know firsthand the difference and importance of a father and not having a dad! My biological father has passed on but out of respect, I still pray for his soul weekly.

There are tremendous advantages to having a dad that is active and emotionally engaged in his children’s life during childhood and adolescence.

Did you know that 1 in 4 children grow up without a father in their lives?

There are so many disadvantages of not being there for your children and advantages to being there. Here are a few points in the pictures.

When I started out as a dad, I had to really learn a lot about what a dad has to and should do. I thought it was only working hard, earning a lot of cash to give the family all they wanted and needed. Well, it cost me a lot of lost years of not seeing my children grow in every step. I have a great relationship with all my children, but I miss some of those times when I thought, employment was the priority, I didn’t have balance and that is what’s needed to make it work.

As good dads we are good role models, we are unconditional in our love, we are disciplinarians, and providers (moms also, I know) and most importantly we love our children’s mothers. If we are separated from the mom, then at least the mom is respected at the highest level possible, in most cases. Even if you are at odds with the mom, be fully supportive financially and socially.

Being a good dad isn’t giving your child all the material pleasures it desires, and you are not a bad dad if you cannot. It is all about being there and doing your best to give what they need to be good people and to achieve their goals, the rest is up to G-d.

You don’t have to have your own children to be a dad or a father figure. We are all a part of humanity, we are family, in different colors, from different cultures. And as a family we look out for each other, as fathers, we are involved in the community, and we have empathy and compassion for all the children on our planet, not just our own. We work together as men to protect our children and empower them. Children are precious and have the right to live in a clean, moral, peaceful, and just society. They can only learn this from us. And on that note, I want to leave you with a clip of inspiration as a dad and as a child.

I also want to give you this piece from Mr. Prince EA. It’s about being Parents in society and providing real environmental protection.

Below we have a few designs from some Merch in our shop for the cool kids and dads, just click on the photo for further information in our shop and enjoy being real men and fathers.
